Jurassic Barks Dog Walking is a family business built on our love for animals, especially dogs.  

We offer a range of services from dog walking to overnight pet sitting. 

We are based in Woolmer Green, Knebworth so have some beautiful areas to choose from to walk your dog.

We have completed the NARPSUK Pet Sitting & Dog Walking full course which included Canine & Feline First Aid as well as Animal Behaviour & Welfare.. Please request to see our certificates if you can’t access the links here.

We are fully insured to walk, sit or transport your pet.  A criminal records check has been completed and returned clear.  Please ask to see our certificates.

At Jurassic Barks we believe that our beloved pets should always be happy, healthy and safe.  

We understand how precious your pet is to you and take every step to look after your dog in the same way we would want someone to look after ours.

Dogs can become stressed and lonely when left alone, we aim to minimise your dogs stress by providing a full care package.

Private walk

We will collect your dog or dogs from your property, take them on a fun walk of thirty minutes or an hour then return them to your home.  We will ensure they have fresh water on the walk and will refresh their water on our return.  The dogs will be towel dried, if necessary, before we leave them.  We can feed your dog or provide medication if we have instruction to.

Pet sitting in your own home

Daily Check-in

We can check in on your pet and feed them.  We will stay for thirty minutes and can play with them as well as providing fresh water and emptying cat litter trays for example.

Group walk

Walks with other dogs of thirty minutes or an hour.  Never more than four dogs at a time.  Dogs are collected and returned to your home. Some assessment of your dog will need to be made to ensure they are able to be part of a group walk.

Pet taxi

We can safely transport to the vet, groomer or anywhere else you would like them to go.

SOLO walk - £10.50 - £16

£16 per hour per dog.  If we walk two dogs from the same family we will charge £20 per hour for both dogs.

Thirty minute walks are £10.50 per dog.

Group walks - £13

£13 per hour per dog plus a contribution to dog park hire per dog.

These walks are subject to your dog being of the right temperament to join group walks.

Check-in - £10.50-£16

£10.50 for thirty minutes and £16 for an hour.  We can pop in to feed your cat or dog, provide fresh water, let them outside if possible, give medication as instructed and use the rest of the time for play time!
